Laptop Modem Install      How to Install a PC Card

there are 2 types of laptop modem cards shown below:

1. You may have this type of modem that slides in the PCMCIA SLOT  the card may be in there already

it may have a DONGLE or phone cord that comes with it  or it may be a X-JACK modem (this is where the phone jack pops out when pushed in) see picture below

This is a common Modem card with the DONGLE shown out of the LAPTOP click for larger 

2. This is the X-JACK PC CARD the phone jack pops out
